Studies for disabled students

The study programme for disabled students in upper secondary school (previously called special education) is intended for students with disabilities who do not have the possibility of attending other programmes of study. Teaching is according to individual needs and efforts are made to increase involvement with other programmes within the school and to provide the students with a chance to be a part of the school community. The curricula of each school should state how the school organises their study programme for disabled students.
